Alex's Chin Strap

This is our first week of school for the 2010/11 school year; yesterday was the 4th day. Alex is already comfortable enough in his new classroom to pull a few stunts.



We marked the day with a call from the school and 4 stitches for the Monkey.

Luckily, our pediatrician offered to stitch Alex up in his office. If he were reading, I'd say, "Thanks for cutting your lunch break short to save us an afternoon in the ER and a few hundred bucks."

But we have to go back Tuesday to get these guys out, so I can tell him then. For now, Alex thinks having stitches is pretty cool. He also didn't hate missing half of school yesterday. Wonder what today will bring. . . .
